Curious about Integrative Psychotherapy in Chattanooga?
This is an approach to well-being that takes your whole person into account (mind, body, spirit), as well as the various ‘systems’ you live in. We start with an in-depth assessment, and design our work together with the modalities and experiences that will best help you heal and grow. Integrative health pulls together collaborative practices among conventional and alternative medicine and draws fresh thinking and solutions from a variety of healing options with the understanding that ALL of our systems are interconnected and that this has profound implications for medicine, health and quality of life.
Ok, Great! What does this mean for me trying to hire a psychotherapist and what should I expect?
We start with a Holistic Assessment (Biological, Psychological, and Social), including mental health diagnoses, if appropriate to your situation.
We collect referrals and/or consultations with other providers involved in your care (as requested or indicated).
We co-develop a strategic action plan targeting your priorities, including how we’ll measure success. Together we’ll determine the expected length and frequency of sessions.
You’ll gain access to Ascend’s ecosystem of resources, including individual sessions, group work (as available), tools, modalities (such as DBT skills training, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Tapping, EMDR, Brainspotting, and Relational Therapy) and practices to create your own beautiful, connected life of ongoing transformation.
For local, Chattanooga clients, your sessions can be in the office, virtual via phone or video, or even outside, walking and talking. Many of our clients shift between these spaces depending on the type of work we are doing and their personal preferences. Clients in the Atlanta area primarily work virtually with Aline.
We help our clients cut through the endless chatter of the modern lifestyle.
We honor your inherent wisdom, help you sift through relevant information, and discover what has been hidden or unheard in honor of who you really are and what you’re called to do. There is no magic pill providing instant wellness — your daily practices, rhythms, thoughts, and habits can either drain you or set you free. We are here to listen, guide, teach and help you find your way again.
