I have long been fascinated by the human experience—why our closest relationships can be the most painful, why we make choices that don’t serve us even when we know better, and how we can create lives that genuinely feel better. Having lived in Australia, the U.K., and across the Eastern United States, I’ve had the privilege of forming meaningful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. These experiences have shaped a deep respect for individual perspectives and inform my compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to client work. I bring specialized training in trauma treatment and often work from a trauma-informed framework, particularly enjoying supporting adults navigating self-discovery, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

In our work together, we explore your life experiences, relationships, thoughts, and sense of embodiment to cultivate greater safety, joy, and inspiration—personally and professionally. Using compassionate curiosity, we clarify your goals and identify actionable steps to help you move forward. My holistic approach honors the mind, body, internal and external influences, and your authentic self. Clients often describe my style as calm, collaborative, and grounded, and I am frequently sought out by clinical colleagues for consultation.

My work is grounded in a deep fascination with the human experience and a genuine love for connecting with others. From an early age, I’ve been drawn to understanding human behavior, guided by empathy and a strong sense of justice—especially for those who feel overlooked or misunderstood. Over the past five years, I’ve worked across all levels of mental health and addiction care, from acute inpatient and residential settings to intensive outpatient programs. In addition to direct client work, I’ve contributed to trauma-focused program design and implementation, allowing me to support both individual healing and broader systems of care.

At Ascend, I work with individuals, couples, and families, with particular interest in identity and existential concerns, relationship challenges, unprocessed childhood trauma, and addiction. I especially enjoy supporting clients navigating ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, complex PTSD, and personality disorders. My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, authentic, and direct, and our work is collaborative and empowering. Because I believe therapy involves more than talk alone, I integrate experiential and somatic approaches such as ecotherapy and brainspotting to support mind–body integration. I draw from person-centered, psychodynamic, narrative, and schema therapies, and bring post-graduate training in Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Imago Relationship Therapy.

Daphne’s work at Ascend is grounded in a deep fascination with the human experience and a unique mind-body perspective. Working collaboratively with teens (16+), adults, couples, and families, she supports those navigating trauma, grief, sexuality, life transitions, and faith deconstruction. Drawing from her background as a massage therapist, she brings a specialized understanding of how the body holds onto stress and emotion. Her therapeutic style is highly adaptable, ranging from gentle and nurturing to direct and challenging, ensuring that the approach always fits your specific needs. She offers a nonjudgmental space of total acceptance for your whole self, including the messiest parts of your journey.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, Daphne integrates somatic interventions, movement, and experiential approaches to facilitate deeper mind-body integration. She specializes in trauma-focused care, including EMDR, and often weaves in nature, music, or art to create a restorative environment for healing. Many of her clients arrive feeling overwhelmed or stuck, and together they create a supportive space where you can feel truly seen and empowered. Whether you are seeking a call to discuss the process or are ready to schedule a session, Daphne’s goal is to ensure you don’t have to navigate the path toward growth and connection alone.

My work is both a calling and a passion. It is an honor to partner with clients as they regain confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose. As a licensed clinical practitioner and coach, I work with a wide range of individuals—from senior executives, entrepreneurs, and former NFL players to college students, small business owners, and those navigating major life transitions. Drawing from diverse therapeutic and coaching approaches, I help clients move beyond feeling stuck and step into their highest vision—personally and professionally.

With over two decades of experience, including a B.A., two master’s degrees, advanced clinical training, and the founding of businesses in two states, I bring a grounded yet multidimensional perspective to my work. I have participated in and facilitated retreats, workshops, and transformative experiences across clinical, spiritual, and personal development spaces—both domestically and abroad—allowing me to integrate mind, body, and spirit in meaningful ways. While credentials matter, how I show up with you matters most. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, inspired, and empowered to do the work that matters most in your life.
